Mortgage Brokers
Finding the right mortgage isn’t just about snagging the lowest interest rate. You want to choose a lender who will work FOR you and WITH you from offer to close. Your lender helps you work your largest debt–and asset–into the rest of your life. When it comes to finding a mortgage, we recommend you consult at least two lenders:
Your bank. They already know you and your personal financial situation so it’s easy…plus they want to earn more of your business.
A mortgage broker. Mortgage brokers match borrowers and lenders. They act as intermediaries, obtaining quotes and financing options from multiple banks and lenders. They do the legwork so you don’t have to. (Bonus: the lenders pay their commission)
Real Estate Lawyers
Your real estate lawyer’s job is to protect your rights and ensure that all the terms of your Agreement of Purchase and Sale are complied with and that you obtain clear title to the property. The importance of having someone who knows what they are doing–specifically in real estate and in Toronto–can’t be underestimated.
